Ways to Give
While government contracts form the foundation for Alum Rock Counseling Center’s (ARCC’s) program funding, our ability to continue to effectively operate is contingent upon the generosity of our donors—and this need will greatly increase in the face of expected funding cuts in the coming months and years. Your gift to ARCC today enables us to continue to serve our community’s most vulnerable youth and families by providing them with access to invaluable mental health services, a need which will also increase as our immigrant and BIPOC populations face increasing stressors and threats to their very survival.
Please be aware that the most useful and versatile gifts for ARCC are those which are designated as “unrestricted”. Unrestricted gifts can be targeted towards the most pressing and critical needs of our agency during any given time.
Alum Rock Counseling Center is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization (#23-7367637) and gifts are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Donate Your Vehicle
Turn your car, motorcycle, truck, recreational vehicle, boat, airplane, or property into a tax deduction and support ARCC when you give it to Donate for Charity. They will arrange a free pickup, manage the DMV requirements, sell it at auction, and distribute the net proceeds to ARCC. You can avoid the headache of selling an unwanted vehicle and you will receive a receipt for your gift.

Gifts In-Kind
ARCC is willing to accept new or gently used items/supplies on a case-by-case basis. Gifts of furniture, appliances, equipment, and other similar goods are often appreciated if they can be put to good use at the time they are offered. Before bringing in-kind gifts to ARCC for donation, please contact development@alumrockcc.org so we can confirm our ability to use them.
Our youth centers in particular have an ongoing need for toiletries, clothing, and other personal items:
