Alum Rock Counseling hosted its Annual Luncheon, “Unmasking the Potential in Today’s Youth,” on Wednesday, March 27, 2019. We were excited to celebrate the Honorable Katherine Lucero, Santa Clara County Superior Court Judge, currently presiding over Juvenile Justice Court, as our 2019 Super Role Model for her leadership in developing innovative programs to support abused & neglected children and dually-diagnosed youth in the juvenile justice system, particularly youth of color.

The event was held at the beautiful Mexican Heritage Plaza in San José. The event featured a pre-reception with wine and appetizers, followed by a sit-down lunch and an inspiring program of speakers. With over 200 guests in attendance, it was a day of furthering existing partnerships, forming new collaborations, and learning about the great work being done countywide to build healthier neighborhoods and thriving communities for youth and families throughout Santa Clara County. Proceeds from the event helped fund ARCC’s twelve different behavioral health programs.
