Alum Rock Counseling hosted its Annual Luncheon, “Unmasking the Potential in Today’s Youth,” on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. We were excited to honor Dave Cortese, Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, District 3 as our 2018 Super Role Model for his extraordinary service to youth and immigrant populations in our community.
The event was held at the beautiful Mexican Heritage Plaza in San José. The event featured a pre-reception and silent auction with wine and appetizers, followed by a sit-down lunch and an inspiring program of speakers, including local government representatives, healthcare providers, philanthropic leaders, and ARCC’s very own program youth.
With over 250 guests in attendance, it was a day of furthering existing partnerships, forming new collaborations, and learning about the great work being done countywide to build healthier neighborhoods and thriving communities for youth and families throughout Santa Clara County. Proceeds from the event helped fund ARCC’s thirteen different behavioral health programs.
