The Annual Fundraising Luncheon Event Committee invites you to “Unmasking the Potential in Today’s Youth” fundraising event on Thursday, April 7, 2016. Join Alum Rock Counseling Center (ARCC) as we honor two community role models, Girish Shah, Community Volunteer, and Magdalena Carrasco, San Jose City Council, District 5 for their extraordinary service to the community. We will also be honoring Jolene Smith, CEO First 5 Santa Clara County as our first Community Hero. The event will be held at the Mexican Heritage Plaza with a VIP reception & silent auction starting at 11:15 a.m., lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. Guest will be greeted by youth involved in agency’s programs.
An anticipated 300 guests will be in attendance, including political, business and community leaders, ARCC executives and Board members, and youth. Proceeds from the event will go toward funding all ARCC programs, however the Ocala STEAM Academy Mentoring & Support Program will be featured at the event. Youth from the program will share their stories and the impact ARCC has had in their lives. We hope you will join us.
