Alum Rock Counseling Center’s 2021 Toy Giveaway is just around the corner! For well over a decade, many of the youth and families served by ARCC have come to count on the support and generosity of our donors to help get them through the holidays. Providing hundreds of youth and caregivers with gifts and other critically needed items, ARCC’s Holiday Assist Program is committed to once again giving families a reason to smile and celebrate this December.
As our communities continue to recover from the pandemic – physically, emotionally and financially – we know that the need this year will be intense. However, realizing that many of our younger children still may not be vaccinated come December, we also know that it is not safe to host our traditional in-person event. Instead, similar to last year, ARCC’s staff will be delivering gifts directly to families’ homes. ARCC is incredibly grateful to the Sharks Foundation, Citizen Equity First Credit Union (CEFCU), and Family Giving Tree, who have already committed to filling families’ wish lists. We also thank all of our individual holiday appeal donors whose contributions are helping to cover the costs for additional presents and other expenses associated with our holiday program.
