Alum Rock Counseling Center’s 2019 Toy Giveaway Event took place on December 17th at the beautiful Friendship Banquet Hall in East San Jose. The day was filled with smiles, toys, arts & crafts, tasty treats, and holiday cheer, as ARCC welcomed record-breaking numbers, including almost 600 youth and families and over 100 volunteers. Thank you to all of our inkind and financial donors, volunteers, and toy bin sponsors who made this year’s Holiday Celebration the magical day that it was.
ARCC was proud to welcome to the event San Jose City Councilwoman Magdalena Carrasco, Amy Nguyen & Jack McGovern representing the Office of Santa Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, Matt Savage from the Office of Supervisor Joe Simitian, and Joanna Molina from the Office of Supervisor Dave Cortese, who came to help wrap gifts and join in the festivities.
